Paula Cofield, 80, of Kennesaw, Georgia, passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, May 26. "Ms. Paula" is survived by her husband, Jerry Cofield, and her three sons, Gregg Cofield (Shannon) of Cartersville; Gary Cofield (Lynn) of Acworth; and Jimmy Cofield (Andrea) of Dallas, TX. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Kaylie, Tori, Sawyer, David, Greer and Paul; her loving sister, Kay Moss (Jim); and her niece and nephew, Ansley Moss and Jarrett Moss.
Paula graduated from Campbell High School in Smyrna in 1957 and worked for Western Electric in Atlanta, where she met Jerry. She devoted her life to working at Mount Paran Church of God and Mount Paran Christian School in Marietta, where she retired after 24 years.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Mt. Paran North Church, 1700 Allgood Rd. NE, Marietta, GA on Thursday, May 28 at 10:00 AM. She will be laid to rest in a private service at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, at a later date.
