Paul Stanley Payne, age 71, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. A reception will immediately follow the ceremony at the family residence.
Born in Atlanta, Stan lived in Powder Springs and Marietta for all of his life. After graduating from McEachern High School, he worked in construction as a contractor for over 50 years, owning and operating Stan Payne Builders. He loved classic cars, classic rock, going to casinos and playing the slots. He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Payne, and his brother, Mark Payne.
Survivors include: Wife of 51 years, Deborah Joyce Payne; 2 Daughters, Tessa (David) Rollins, Dallas, GA, and Carmen (Brandon) Michea, Woodstock, GA; 2 Sisters, Carole (Randy) Hogue, Powder Springs, GA, and Deborah (Ricky) Shiflett, Bowdon, GA; 4 Grandchildren, Cam Rollins, Cooper Courtney, Gareth Rollins and Grayson Michea, and several Nieces and Nephews.
