Patsy Butler

Mrs. Patsy Jean Butler, age 81, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away peacefully Monday, January 17, 2022. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA. Interment will be in the Rock Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery in Buford, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents Owen Marshall Moore and Ela Vanette Moore and her brothers Billy Moore and Ray Moore, and nephew Douglas Ray Moore.

She was born on December 22, 1940 in Gwinnett County GA, to the late Mr. Owen Marshall Moore and the late Mrs. Ela Vanette Knight. She was a member of Austell First United Methodist Church. She served the community for 10 plus years as a member of the South Cobb Lions Club and was also a elderly care advocate via her Ombudsman duties.

She is survived by her son Brian Wayne Butler and Daughter in Law Sandra Boyd Butler, Sister Neda Faye Harris & spouse Larry Harris, Nephew Dr. Michael Milton & spouse Brenda Milton, Granddaughter Adrienne & spouse George Skala, Sister in Law Betty Moore nieces Angela Moore & Lori Moore. She also had surviving nieces and nephews Deborah Ann Stinchomb, Janet Melissa Tullis, Tammy Paulette Coggins, Jeffery Marshall Moore and Paul Jason Moore and great nieces and nephews Ansley Moore, Matthew Milton, Thomas Milton , Emily Milton,and Rachel Milton.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.
