Patricia M. Meers

Patricia M. Meers, 56 of Powder Springs passed away Monday, May 9, 2016. Services will be 11am Thursday, May 12, 2016 in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Ginger Cooper officiating. Interment will follow at Cooper’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Suches, GA at 3pm. A lifelong resident of Powder Springs, Mrs. Meers was a graduate of John McEachern High School and was a Floral Designer with Mary’s Flower Shop and Ann’s Florist. She was also employed with Michael’s in Hiram and attended Bethany Christian Church in Dallas. Mrs. Meers was preceded in death by her parents, Wolf and Carol Heidelberg and her sister, Carol Ann Siegrist.

She is survived by her husband, Donald “Duck” Meers of Powder Springs, GA; Daughter, Heidi (Michael Bell) Roberts of Powder Springs, GA; Step son and his wife, Donald Larry and Rachel Meers Jr. of Douglasville, GA; Brother and Sister in law, Matt and Becky Heidelberg of Dallas; and Granddaughter, Shay Bell of Powder Springs, GA

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, May 11, 2016 from 5pm until 8pm.
