Patricia Jester

Patricia Dyan Warren Jester, age 60, of Marietta, Georgia passed away January 29, 2017. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Tim Childers, Rose Cannon, Janet Beebe and MPD Chief Dan Flynn speaking. A native of Anniston, AL, Pat was a 1974 graduate of Jacksonville High School. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Jacksonville State University in 1987. She was currently employed as an Independent Sales Consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics. She previously worked in Sales with the Marietta Daily Journal Newspaper, The Atlanta Journal Newspaper, the Jacksonville News and Rich's Department Store in Atlanta. Mrs. Jester was a Board Member with Loving Arms Cancer Outreach and Dunleith Homeowner's Association. She also volunteered with the FurKids Animal Rescue, Loving Arms Cancer Outreach, and the Marietta Police Department. Pat was a vivid example to all those who knew her of someone that inspired others, despite her physical ailments.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Dorothy Warren. She is survived by her husband, Victor Jester of Marietta; Brother, Jerry (Jean) Elser of Anniston, AL and her nephew, W. Jason Elser of Kentucky.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 1:00 pm until the time of service at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with a Reception immediately following the service at the funeral home.
