Olen Aycock

Olen Edward Aycock, age 90, of Marietta, Georgia passed away June 21, 2023. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 26, 2023 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 26, 2023 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, Georgia. Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 30, 2023 at 2:00 pm CST at Rocky Springs Baptist Church in Homer, LA an Inurnment will follow the service in the Rocky Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Olen was a native of Lisbon, LA and lived in Marietta, GA since 1973. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and retired from the United States Department of Agriculture. Olen spent much of his time serving our Lord at both Vinings Baptist Church and formerly at Welcome All Baptist Church, where he was very active in the children's and youth ministries. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening and especially spending time with his family.

Survivors include: wife of 64 years: Nina Aycock of Marietta, GA; son: Joel (Regina) Aycock of Acworth, GA, daughter: Jeannie Aycock of Alpharetta, GA and son: Jeff (Michelle) Aycock of Kennesaw, GA; seven grandchildren: Amanda Clay, Ashlyn Kingry, Ansley O'Neal, Alyssa Perry, William Allen, Andrew Aycock and Micah Aycock; great-grandchildren: Isaac Kingry, Olen Kingry, Kaygen Kingry, Ella Perry, Grayson Perry, Polly O'Neal and Abel Kingry and a host of nieces and nephews.
