Norma Faye Moyel Scales, age 78, of Hiram, Georgia passed away February 2, 2020. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA. Interment will follow at Peaceful Meadows in Dallas, Georgia.
Mrs. Scales was a native of Austell, GA and lived in Hiram since 1981. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Powder Springs, GA. She loved to dig in her garden, play with the grandchildren, spend time with her family and playing Yahtzee.
Survivors include: Husband of 59 years Albert Scales, Jr. of Hiram, GA; four daughters: April (Kenneth) Alexander of Ashville, NC, Audrey (Jeff) Kinsey of Hiram, GA, Anita (Bill) Baker of Dallas, GA and Amberly (Adam) Waddle Forsyth, GA; nine grandchildren: Bethany Jagdharry, Rebecca Lingerfelt, Benjamin Lingerfelt, Jason Kinsey, Christa Alexander, Thomas Waddle, Esther Waddle, Judah Waddle and Gideon Waddle; and one great-grandchild: Mackenzie Chambers; sister: Yvonne Standridge and Patricia Baldwin; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.
