Nora Monica Rose, aged 65, departed peacefully from this world on September 18, 2023 in her home, fortified by the sacraments of the Church and with her family at her side.
She is remembered as a faithful Catholic who was devoted to Our Lord and Our Lady throughout her life. It was, however, in the recovery of the Traditional Latin Mass in her adulthood that this devotion was able to shine forth most fully. Her regular assistance at daily mass and her devotion to the Holy Rosary were hallmarks of her life before her illness, and these practices, coupled with her deep faith, sustained her to the end. For this reason these words of Our Lord inspire hope rather than fear concerning her: "I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, although he be dead, shall live, and anyone that liveth, and believeth in me, shall not die forever." (Requiem mass Gospel, St. John ch. 11). We appreciate the support of your prayers for the repose of her soul.
She is survived by her husband Wayne; three of her children: Adam, Avery, Sydney (Markich); and two stepchildren: Christopher, Nena. She was preceded in death by her mother and her son, Kyle.
