Nina Chinault Frey

Nina Chinault Frey, age 86, of Acworth, Georgia passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 25, 2019 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev Verlene Borum and Rev Buck Reese officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta. Mrs. Frey moved from Pennington Gap, VA to Marietta in 1953 to teach at Marietta High School. She was a Builder / Developer in Cobb County for many years, and served as a Trustee for the Kennesaw State University Foundation. She was a member of Marietta First United Methodist Church. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Steve Frey, Jr. Survivors include: 2 sons, Tim (Kim) Frey of Acworth and Steve (Wanda) Frey of Marietta; brother, Curtis (Sue) Chinault of Columbia, SC; 6 grandchildren, Laura (Luke) Graham, John (Jacqui) Frey, Elisabeth Hoffer, Lena Frey, Anna (Drew) Zamudio, and Madelyn Frey; 7 great-grandchildren, Henry, Oliver, Jack, Sylvie, Thomas, Peter and Darby. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 25th from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
