Nicole Shawan (Johnson) Harris

August 25, 1978 — February 22, 2024

Nicole Shawan (Johnson) Harris, affectionately known as "Nikki", was born in Long Island, New York. The Family of 6 moved to Deltona, Florida in 1992 (Joshua was born later in Florida). Nicole graduated high school and married Dajuan Sr. shortly after. Born to the young Harris couple were Angelique, DaJuan Jr., Joy, Jalen, and Anferny.  The young loving and committed mother, was also the 1st born of Jorge (2012) and Patricia Alfonso, and sister of Jorge Jr., Jason , Jermaine, Jonathan and Joshua. Nicole gained experience in parenting by helping to rise her brothers. Nicole's dedication and love for God came at an early age, as she kept busy in the church under the leadership of her grandmother and Pastor, Hattie (2004). Nikki became a proficient drummer, and servant doing whatever was needed to be done in the Church. Bringing those same gifts to the Church in Florida-Dimensions. Nicole was an awesome drummer, business manager, hair stylist, organizer and so much more. Nicole's talents were a mere shadow of what she loved doing the most, being a loving "mother", grandmother, and provider. Nikki enjoyed watching comedy shows, laughing, loving, giving, and helping whenever and wherever she was needed. Nikki's expressions of love are too numerous to count. Born again at an early age her relationship with God taught her to put others before herself. Nicole taught her kids how to not only do good to and for others, but she raised them in the "Fear and admonition of the Lord." Leaving a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, & Friends who loved her dearly also, who all say:

"Your rest is well deserved beautiful Queen,
You will be missed, and you are loved dearly
However, your assignment on earth is done
This is not goodbye for we know that you are here always."
