Nellie M. Sams, age 95, of Marietta, Georgia passed away October 14, 2018. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Central Baptist Church in Marietta. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Doyle Sams, sister Margie Rudesal and niece Karen Wine. Mrs. Sams was a charter member of Central Baptist Church in Marietta, where she was a member of the Adult 3 Sunday School Class, Choir and Quilt Club. Survivors include: brother: George Sexton of Marietta; sister: Ruth Holmes of Powder Springs; nieces, nephews and many friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Central Baptist Church in Marietta.
