Regardless of how you knew Nell Pace Rogers, as a friend from church, from work, or were lucky enough to be a part of her family, she had an impact on your life. She loved to laugh, she loved her friends, she loved her church, she loved her family, and she loved God. The transition she made from her time on earth to Heaven was amazing and peaceful, and she was surrounded by her family.
Nell Newman Pace Rogers, age 80, of Marietta, GA passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2015. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, April 14th at Floyd Road Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta. She will lie in state at the church 1 hour prior to the service.
Born in LaFayette, Alabama, Mrs. Rogers lived in the Atlanta area for the past 60 years. She retired from Peoples Financial after 35 years of employment. She was a member of Floyd Road Baptist Church, and enjoyed being a part of the Helping Hands, and the Golden Friend Shippers. She was preceded in death by her spouses, John Clarence Pace and Andrew Rogers, and her brother, Gay Newman.
