Naomi Susanna Morris

Naomi “Sue” Morris, 94, of Hiram passed away Sunday November 20, 2011. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday November 22, 2011 in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Mike Woods and Rev. Rodney Carson officiating. Interment will be held in Crestlawn Cemetery, Atlanta. A native of Cleveland, GA, Mrs. Morris worked as a welder in the Brunswick Shipyard during WWII. She later moved to Atlanta where she was an operator for Bell Phone Systems. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Powder Springs. Survivors include her husband, Norman W. Morris; Daughter, Millie Johnston of Hiram; Sons Walter C. Morris of Toccoa and Richard Morris of Hiram. 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday, November 21, 2011 from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
