Nancy Brown of Smyrna, Georgia, passed Friday, August 25th, 2023 at the age of 79. She has been suffering with dementia for the last two years and she is now at peace. She was born on December 18th, 1943, in Parkersburg West Virginia. Her parents were Constance Lorraine Ingold and Albert Leroy Ingold.
Nancy was married to Robert R. Brown for 53 years. Together they had three daughters. Robert passed on February 21st, 2014. Upon his death she moved to Georgia where she later developed a close bond with Joe Abston.
Nancy is survived by her three daughters, Joni Allman (Ed), of Canonsburg Pennsylvania; Pam Daley (Jared), of Douglasville Georgia; Heather Rice (Adam), of Powder Springs Georgia; and grandchildren Megan Daley and Addison Rice. Survivors also include, step-daughter Patricia and Nancy’s close friend Joe Abston.
She will be laid to rest at Evergreen South, Parkersburg , West Virginia. Donations in honor of Nancy may be made to Dementia Society of America.
