Nancy Barron, age 81, of Marietta, Georgia passed away January 2, 2019. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 4, 2019 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta with Rev. Richard Wilkins officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia.
Mrs. Barron has lived in Cobb County since the early 1950's. She was a founding member of Cheatham Hill Baptist Church and former member of Hollydale Baptist Church. She retired from McLauren Shoe Corporation in Marietta. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include: husband of 63 years: Jerry "Red" Barron of Marietta, GA; daughter: Melinda (Matt) Ridling of Powder Springs, GA; son: Kenny (Amber) Barron of Marietta, GA; sisters: Pat Hutson of Woodstock, GA, Peggy Hutson of Marietta, GA; brother: Jerry Randall of Calhoun, GA; grandchild: Kasey Ridling of Nashville, TN and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
