Miles had a deep love for his wife, family, friends, and his two fur-babies Emmy and Shelbie. But most of all he had an ever-growing relationship with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Miles was the genuine article, a humble man who longed for an uncomplicated life. An old soul born in the wrong decade, he longed for simpler times. His entertainment was found in old music on vinyl, old movies, and old school video games. Music was his absolute passion. God blessed Miles with natural talent. At age 14 he began playing in praise bands with his father at Roswell Street Baptist Church. He was a student of his craft, practicing tirelessly to improve his playing skills and his ability to express his inner most feelings through the notes coming off his fingers. He always had the ability to fit in with players at any skill level, making sure those who were his junior felt important and appreciated. Although he was married to his wife Megan for only 3 months, it was evident to all that he loved her deeply. He was the true definition of a loving husband, son, brother, and friend. His physical absence leaves a hole that is impossible to fill by anyone else. We are confident that Miles has reached his heavenly home with his Lord, and that one day we will see him again.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
