Miles Andrew Russell

December 10, 1990 — February 4, 2023

Miles Andrew Russell, age 32, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Saturday, February 4, 2023. Born in Atlanta, GA, Miles lived most of his life in Cobb County. He attended McEachern High School, then graduated from Harrison High School in 2009. For the last 5 years, he worked as a Field Manager for Superclean Service Company, Inc. He was a longtime member of Roswell Street Baptist Church growing up and was currently a member of Freedom Church.TV where he played the bass guitar in the praise band. Miles also played the guitar in the Paul Hand Band and Ghosts in the Garden.

Survivors include: Wife, Megan Nicole Russell; Parents, Stephen and Dara Russell, Cumming, GA; 2 Brothers, Samuel (Aubrey) Russell, Canton, GA, and Mason (Merissa) Russell, Canton, GA; Nieces, Tinsley Russell and Sutton Russell; Maternal Grandparents, Patricia and Gene Bunch, Paducah, KY; Step Grandmother, Crystal Jackson, Ashland, KY; In-Laws, Steven and Jenny Huntington, Powder Springs, GA. Miles was proceeded in death by his Paternal Grandparents, Hollie and Abbie Russell, Paducah, KY and Maternal Grandfather, Darryl Jackson, Ashland, KY.

Miles had a deep love for his wife, family, friends, and his two fur-babies Emmy and Shelbie. But most of all he had an ever-growing relationship with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Miles was the genuine article, a humble man who longed for an uncomplicated life. An old soul born in the wrong decade, he longed for simpler times. His entertainment was found in old music on vinyl, old movies, and old school video games. Music was his absolute passion. God blessed Miles with natural talent. At age 14 he began playing in praise bands with his father at Roswell Street Baptist Church. He was a student of his craft, practicing tirelessly to improve his playing skills and his ability to express his inner most feelings through the notes coming off his fingers. He always had the ability to fit in with players at any skill level, making sure those who were his junior felt important and appreciated. Although he was married to his wife Megan for only 3 months, it was evident to all that he loved her deeply. He was the true definition of a loving husband, son, brother, and friend. His physical absence leaves a hole that is impossible to fill by anyone else. We are confident that Miles has reached his heavenly home with his Lord, and that one day we will see him again.
