Mildred Orita Jamison
June 16, 1923 — December 6, 2012
Mrs. Mildred Orita Jamison, age 89, of Marietta, GA passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2012. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Pastor Howard Koepka officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens in Mableton.
A native of Chicago, Mrs. Jamison moved to Marietta 5 years ago. She retired from the United States Postal Service after 36 years of employment. She was also an ordained minister, and enjoyed her prison and nursing home ministries.
Survivors include:
2 Children: Reginald Scott and wife Dorothy, Valley, AL.
Eldred James Jamison and wife Renee, Marietta, GA
Grandchildren: George, Mildred, Victor (LaTanya), Steven (Melissa), James, Anthony, Lisa (James) & Gina
Great-Grandchildren: Chantel, Lil Richard (Mashanda), Robert (Lucretia), Lil Victor, Jarrell, Breanna, Lil Stevie, Autumn, Micah & Isrianna, William, Jalyn, Jordan, James Jr., Julia, Rojania, Anthony Jr., Sara and Christian

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, George and Anna Belle Scott; son, George Scott and daughter, Orita Lloyd.
