God called home a beautiful and loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece and dear friend. She was born the daughter of Cicero and the late Agnes Rounsaville. She leaves behind three precious beloved children, Aurielle, Ryan and Dixon; four grandchildren, Layla, Abram, Corrine and Evelyn; her father, Cicero; two sisters, Garbryl and Melanie; and a host of nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Mignon graduated from the 1980 class of Chattooga County High School in Summerville,Georgia. While humble in nature, in her early years, Mignon shared her beauty with us and was renown in the community for her pageantry. She went on to be crowned Miss Chattooga County and placed 4th in the Georgia Miss United Teen Pageant. She sought higher learning at the American College of Fashion and Design in Atlanta while pursuing her modeling career. She later married and found her true calling. She was a caregiver at heart and enjoyed caring for her own children and sharing that same love with a host of other children through a successful home day care. She lended those same talents through managing and selling baby furnishings for several high-end baby stores. Cleaving to her zest for caregiving, Mignon later obtained her CNA license and enjoyed providing in-home care for the elderly.
Mignon made Cobb County her home for 30 years and later moved to Rome, Georgia. She attended church services regularly prior to her illness and dearly loved the Lord and the fellowship of his people. She loved family, cooking, dancing, singing, reading, decorating and tending to flowers. She is now resting in the loving care of our Lord.
