Michael Wayne Williams

Michael Wayne Williams, age 67, of Land o Lakes, FL passed away on Sunday July 5, 2020 after a 4 year bout with cancer. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Monday, July 13 2020, at West Cobb Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta, GA. The family will receive friends beginning at 1pm Monday at West Cobb.

Born in Marietta, GA, Mr. Williams moved to Tampa, FL At 25 years young taking a regional sales manager position with Niagara National Chemical Company (now owned by Zep Chemical Company) where he worked close to 40 years until retirement, after a brief time living in Los Angles, CA. While in Florida Mike created a family that he loved more anything. He was a ardent traveler and loved to see the world often visiting his son on his tours of duty with the United States Army, with one of his favorite locations being Colorado and the Rocky Mountains. Mr. Williams loved to spend time with his two children and grandchildren on the beach in Florida making wonderful memories. He also loved spending time on the beautiful lakes in Georgia, teaching his kids how to water ski, grandkids how to swim and spending time with his immediate family sitting on the lake telling funny stories of times past.

Survivors include: His Mother, Frances G. Williams of Canton, GA; His two children, Daughter, Melissa A. Seltzer of Land o Lakes, FL and Son, Robert A. Williams of Denver, CO; 4 Grandchildren, Mason J. Williams and Hayden J. Williams of Nacoduches, TX, Avery A. Williams of Farmington, NM and Dylan M. Seltzer of Land o Lakes, FL; 2 Sisters, Judy Osborn of Canton, GA and Vicky Cason of Carrollton, GA
