On October 22, 1963, the Lord blessed Vincent and Veronica Lowe with their fourth child. A beautiful baby boy, who would be named Michael Anthony Lowe, was born in Kingston, Jamaica. “Nathan,” as we used to affectionately call him. Michael was a lover of life – sharing his love for life with everyone he came in contact with. He especially loved to “kid-around,” especially with kids.
As a youth, Nathan attended elementary through high school in Freeport, New York. In 1993 Nathan obtained his Pharmacy Technician Certificate from John Hopkins School of Medicine. He dedicated over twenty-years of healthcare services to the community of Baltimore, Maryland.
As the fourth child of six, Michael grew up in a large and loving family. He married his childhood sweetheart and best friend, Tanya Ann Slater, on August 24, 1991. Their union produced two sons, Michael Anthony and Marcus Alexander. Nathan was a devoted and loving father who raised his sons with patience, discipline, and humility. He taught them to love and respect nature, value education, to be polite and respectful.
Nathan relocated three-years ago to Atlanta, Georgia and lived with his devoted sister Marjorie “Cherry”. It is here on October 2, 2016, at the age of 52, Michael (Nathan) Anthony Lowe passed on to the gates of heaven. Nathan played an integral role in keeping our family together and in encouraging family and friends alike to live life to the fullest. He gave of his time and self unselfishly. If he were here he would give us that very infectious smile he is so famous for.
Michael Anthony “Nathan” Lowe is preceded in death by his Father Vincent Lowe and his sister Lorna “Cutie” Hall.
We could write a never-ending biography of his life, instead we have chosen to remember him through the memories of his loved ones – his wife Tanya Ann Lowe, mother Veronica Lowe-Mills, sons Michael Anthony Lowe and Marcus Alexander Lowe, brother Linton Lowe (Mercedes), sister Marjorie Lowe (Lascelles), sister Ann Marie Allen (Barris), sister Maxine Bush (Alexander), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends too numerous to name.
“Nathan” FOREVER REMAINS in our hearts and memories
