Michael Lamar Bishop, age 66, of Winston, Georgia passed away March 27, 2019. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs, Georgia.
Michael was a native of Gadsden, AL. who has spent most of his life in the Atlanta area. Michael loved working as a over the road truck driver. In Michael off time he loved helping his family and friends on different projects. He was an avid Alabama Fan.
Survivors include: wife of 48 years: Judy Bishop of Winston, GA; daughter: Michelle (Michael) Pierre; son: Michael Lamar (Nicole) Bishop, Jr.; both of Douglasville, GA; brother: Bobby Jack Bishop of Alabama; three grandchildren: Kaitlyn Nicole Bishop, Anthony Michael Pierre and Cynthia LaDawn Lee Pierre.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory at 2480 Macland Rd, Marietta, GA 30064.
