Melvin Linn Masters

Melvin Linn Masters, age 71, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 2, 2022 at Macland Baptist Church in Powder Springs with Gene Hice officiating. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta. He will lie in state at the church from 12pm until 1pm prior to the ceremony on Friday.

A native of Birmingham, AL, Mr. Masters lived in Georgia for the past 40 years. He owned and operated P.D.I. (Peachtree Distributing, Inc.) for over 40 years, and was a member of Macland Baptist Church. He also enjoyed shooting guns. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.D. and Laura Linn Masters, and a grandson, Melvin Linn Masters, III.

Survivors include: Wife, Deborah A. Masters; 3 Sons, Melvin Linn Masters, Jr., James Douglas (Candace Owens) Adams, and Benjamin Sidney (Jennifer Leach) Adams; 2 Brothers, Jeffery D. (Diane Sanders) Masters, and Randy (Sarah) Masters; 10 Grandchildren, Savannah, Hayden, Dillon, Kayde, Kara, Garrett, Autumn, A.J., William, and Stevie; Great Grandchild, Preston.
