Melvin James King, age 46, of Powder Springs, GA went home on Tuesday, July 5, 2016. Funeral Services will be held at 12pm on Saturday, July 9th at Trinity Chapel Church of God. He will lie in state 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, GA.
A native of New York, Mr. King moved to Powder Springs, GA 4 years ago. He worked as an Interior Designer, and had been employed with Macy’s in New York, and with Thomasville Furniture.

Wife: Ann Marie King
5 Children: Melvin B. King, Alonzo King, Bobbi Ann King, Jeremiah King and Jonathan King
Sisters: Patricia King, Diane Moore, Yvette Moore, and Yvonne Moore
Brothers: Daniel King, Brian Reynolds, Wayne Lewis, Uzell John McFarland and Milton Moore, Jr.
Granddaughter: Alayna King
