Maude Kent Millwood

Maude Kent Millwood, 90, of Marietta went home to be with her Lord, Thursday, February 23, 2012. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 27, 2012 in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory with Revs. Gene Winfrey, Terry Braswell and Ray Huddleston officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park. Mrs. Millwood worked in the lunch room at Banberry and Lockheed Elementary Schools. She was a Beautician at Louise’s in Marietta and was a member and Sunday School Teacher at Austin Avenue Baptist Church. Mrs. Millwood loved to cook and travel and was an excellent seamstress. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. B.J. Millwood, two sisters and one brother. She is survived by her children, Jerry (Edie) Millwood of Blue Ridge and Cathy (Bill) Millwood Justus of Kennesaw; Grandchildren, Traci (Chris) Esslinger of Smyrna, Dr. Henry (Donelle) Millwood of Anderson, S.C. and Stephen Justus of Dallas, GA; Great Grandchildren, Benjamin Justus, Cody Justus, Charli Millwood, Leah Millwood, Chloe Esslinger and one great grandchild on the way; and several nephews.
