Mary Susan Taylor

Mary Susan Taylor, lovingly known to all as Susan, was born on August 27, 1958, in Waco, Texas. She passed away peacefully on December 3, 2024, in Marietta, Georgia, leaving behind a legacy that embodies creativity, love, and resilience.

Professionally, Susan was a talented graphic designer whose artistic vision inspired many. Her keen eye for detail and passion for aesthetics gathered admiration from colleagues and clients alike. In every project she undertook, she infused her unique perspective and dedication, which enriched the lives of those she collaborated with.

Susan was a natural artist who loved using all types of mediums, such as Oil Painting, Watercolor painting and drawing. Nature was her most favorite to draw but she was talented in drawing portraits as well. Some of her artwork will be demonstrated at her memorial service for her friends and family to enjoy.

Susan’s life was rooted in her love for her family. She is survived by her mother, Barbara Kay Crocker, who will carry the memories of their times together with grace and strength. Her daughter, Lacy (Jason) Richardson, remains forever grateful for her mother’s unwavering support and guidance. Susan took great joy in her role as a grandmother to Kalina and Nathaniel Richardson, nurturing and cherishing them with all her heart.

She joins in eternal rest her beloved husband, Jackson Clifford Taylor, who passed away in 2018, and her father, Harvey Lee Crocker. While Susan has departed from this earthly realm, the love and warmth she shared with her family and friends continue to shine brightly in their hearts.

A visitation will be held on December 14, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at West Cobb Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 2480 Macland Road, Marietta, GA 30064. This will be followed by a memorial service celebrating her life beginning at 1:00 PM.

Susan’s spirit remains alive in the laughter and fond memories of those she touched. She will always be remembered for her creativity, her formidable love for her family, and the brightness she brought into the world. She leaves a profound silence in the lives of many, but also a treasure trove of cherished memories that will forever comfort those who loved her deeply.
