Mary “Sue” Ramsey, age 75, of Powder Springs formerly of Decatur, passed away on November 28, 2013. Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta. Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Park in Atlanta.
Sue was born in Charlotte, NC but lived most of her life in the Atlanta area. Sue and her husband, Kent, both worked for the Atlanta Journal Constitution for many years. She owned, “A Perfect Type” graphic design business and used her talents to help many missionaries and ministers with various publications to help spread the Gospel. She was a member of Life Center Ministries in Dunwoody.
Sue is preceded in death by her husband, Kent Ramsey and is survived by her children: Bill Jackson of Decatur; Bobby Jackson and his wife, Terry of Powder Springs and Barbara Thompson and her fiancé, Felix Blankenship of Buford; grandchildren: Mindy, Mylana Liles, Mark Jackson, Robert Fraser, Michelle Fraser, Jason Thompson and Christie Thompson and many loving great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
