Mary Wages Masters, age 85, of Powder Springs passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2015. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 4, 2015 in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta with Rev. Keith Collins and Rev. Mickey Camp officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Memorial Park in Smyrna.
Mrs. Masters lived in Carroll County before moving to Cobb County over 66 years ago. She was a member of Floyd Road Baptist Church, and a member of the American Legion Post 111. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Carlton Wages in 1979 and her second husband, William Masters in 1997. She is survived by her loving children: Beverly (Kenneth) Richard of Powder Springs, Stephen (Jeanie) Wages of Austell, Melissa Cash of Breman; brother, Johnny Perkins of Carrollton; 5 grandchildren: Kerri Edwards, Melissa Camp, Deann Shelton, Carlton Wages and Stephen Wages; 9 great grandchildren: Chase, Alyssa, Noah, Katlin, Leah, Alex, Rilieghy, Jaxxon and Liam.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 3 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home. Online guestbook @
