Mary Lois VanMeter Lewis, age 95, went to be with the Lord October 24, 2011.
Dearly loved by her family and friends, she was a lifelong member of the Church of God of the Union Assembly.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Earnest H. Lewis; her parents, Horace and Minnie VanMeter; nine siblings and her son-in-law, David Cruze.
She is survived by her son, Gil Lewis and wife, Shirl of Roswell, GA; daughter, Brenda Cruze of Marietta, GA; grandchildren, Kim Creamer and her husband, Ron of Virginia Beach, VA and Todd Lewis and his wife, Erin of Gainesville, GA; great-grandchildren, Brittany and Bradley Creamer and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Family will receive friends Thursday, October 27, 2011, 5-7pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory.
The Funeral will be Friday, October 28, 11:00am at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory.
The Service will be officiated by Reverend Charlie Bell. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Todd Lewis, Ron Creamer, Bradley Creamer, Clinton Smith, Michael Smith, and Donnie Tate.
Interment: West Hill Cemetery, Dalton, GA at 2:30pm.
