Mary Louise Gunter, age 57, of Slidell, Louisiana passed away February 26, 2022. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 7, 2022 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA. Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens in Hiram, Georgia.
Mary was born on June 12, 1964 in Detroit Michigan and moved to New Tazewell, Tennessee with her parents Richard D. Allen and Mary E. Allen at a very young age. In 1985 she moved to the Atlanta, Ga area and in 1993 she married Rick Gunter and moved to Paulding County Ga where they lived until April 2020 when they moved to Slidell, La. Mary is survived by her Husband Rick Gunter of Slidell, La., Sons Matthew Gunter of Metairie, La., and Stephen Gunter of Panama City, Fla., and 3 Grandchildren, Riley, Mason and Harrison.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 7, 2022 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA, with Interment to follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens in Hiram, Georgia.
