A lifelong resident of Powder Springs, Mr. Pigg was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam War. He was a truck driver and had worked for A.P. Worsham for many years. He was a long time member of Macland Road Church of Christ, and loved watching the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldog football and softball. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Pigg, and a daughter, Sherry Shorter.
Survivors include: Sister, Mary Ellen Moody, Rockmart, GA; 2 Grandchildren, Blake and Levi Shorter; Great Grandson, Riggs Shorter; Many Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 3, 2024 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
