Marshall L. Harrison

Marshall L. Harrison, age 73, of Marietta, GA passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017. Funeral Services will be held at 10am on Thursday, August 10th at the Open Bible Tabernacle in Marietta with Bishop Grant Cole and Bishop Steve Brown officiating. He will lie in state 1 hour prior to the ceremony at the church. Burial will follow at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton at 12:30pm. A native of Atlanta, Mr. Harrison moved his family to Marietta in 1975. He was a devoted husband to his wife Margie until she passed in 2015. He was a loving father to his son Scott and loved spending time with his 3 granddaughters and 6 great grandchildren. Mr. Harrison was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was an entrepreneur who owned and operated Harrison Printing since 1989. Mr. Harrison also enjoyed serving the Lord in ministry for over 50 years. He was blessed to serve in various roles as a Sunday school teacher, church clerk and elder. His passion was to serve the Lord. Survivors include: Son, Scott Michael (Cindy) Harrison, Powder Springs, GA; 4 Siblings: James Harrison, Carl Harrison, Debbie Lanham and Eunice Creel; 3 Grandchildren: Sunshine Porter, Sarah Crook and Morgan Marshall; 6 Great Grandchildren: Levi Porter, Blaise Porter, Sophia Porter, Mercy Porter, Israel Crook and Brave Marshall.
