Marsha Dell Dutton, 54 of Marietta, GA passed away in her sleep October 31, 2013. She was born July 19, 1959 in Lubbock, Texas.
Her parents were Jodi and Travis Odell Dutton. She began traveling at 18 months when her dad was transferred to Chicago, IL; then when she was 2 ½ years to Evansville, IN; then 3 ½ years to Peoria, Il. She attended Peoria schools and graduated from Chillcothe High School. She attended Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, Il. Then when her dad was transferred to Atlanta, GA in 1982, she followed a year later. She worked at different jobs, the last one was driving a school bus for Cobb County, Marietta, GA.
She was preceded in death by her father, Travis Dutton. She is survived by her mother, Jodi Culver and step father, Ray Culver of Roswell, GA; son, Brandon Carden of Marietta, GA; sister, Cynthia Dutton of Santa Fe, NM; nephew, Travis Dutton-Leyda of Santa Fe, NM; Niece, Rachel Dutton-Leyda of Alburquerque, NM; one aunt, cousins and her God parents, JoAnne and Douglas Temple, Peoria, IL and her Dachshund, Scrappy –Doo.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, November 15, 2013 at Shallowford Free Will Baptist Church, 1686 Shallowford Rd. Marietta, GA at 2 p.m. Family will receive friends one hour before the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to her church or the DREAM Dachshund Rescue, P.O. Box 3397 Decatur, GA 30031
