Marlene Frondorf Fox, 80, of Kennesaw, GA, formerly of Cincinnati, OH, died peacefully with her family by her side on April 4, 2019, after suffering with Alzheimers for over 10 years. Born April 20, 1938, she is predeceased by her parents, Albert and Marian (Rothan) Frondorf of Cincinnati, OH. Marlene is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Edward. She is also survived by her two daughters, Julie Nichols and husband Mike and Amy Kachel and husband Ivan. Marlene had two grandaughters, Katie Nichols and Emily Kachel.
Marlene was a homemaker living in Dayton, OH with her husband, Ed, for 26 years until they headed south to live on Marco Island, FL. It was then, Marlene showed her entrepreneurial spirit by opening a bed and bath shop successfully for 11 years. Although Ed and Marlene enjoyed the beautiful home they had in FL, Marlene, wanted to be with her young grandaughters, so they moved to Kennesaw, GA, where she was a very loving grandmother until Alzheimers began to take her memory.
Marlene was very dedicated to her family who not only was a very loving wife and mother, she also shared her home with other family members during all the holidays. The thing she will be remembered the most is her great laugh and positive attitude.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, April 26, at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Church, Marietta, GA, followed by a life celebration at Lost Creek Clubhouse in Kennesaw GA, immediately following the service.
