Mark Alan Staebler

Mark Alan Staebler, age 50, of Powder Springs passed away December 25, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 28 at the First Baptist Church Powder Springs with Rev. Mike Woods officiating. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Cemetery, Powder Springs.

Mr. Staebler was preceded in death by his mother, Therese Staebler and is survived by his father, John Staebler; his wife, Maria Staebler of Powder Springs; 5 children: Richard Alan Staebler of Powder Springs; Tiffani Staebler Brown and son-in-law, Corey Brown of Marietta; Steven Parris Staebler of Powder Springs; Thomas Mark Staebler of Powder Springs and Anna Therese Staebler of Powder Springs; 2 sisters, Pam Marlowe of Cleveland, OH and Jackie Pettay of Tampa, FL; 2 grandchildren: Landon Scott Brown and Ezra Mark Brown; Father and Mother-in-Law, Parris and Arlene McDonald.

Mark was born in Cleveland, OH and moved to Georgia 30 years ago. He was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather. He was a member of First Baptist Church Powder Springs where he was an Associate Deacon and employed as a mechanic at Heritage Motors.

Donations may be made in Mark’s memory to the benevolence fund at First Baptist Church Powder Springs, 4330 North Avenue, Powder Springs, GA 30127.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta.
