Marjorie Hudson

Marjorie Davison Hudson, age 98, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019. Services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, February 2, at West Cobb Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in Milledgeville, GA at Baldwin Memorial Gardens Cemetery with a graveside service at 3 PM. Mrs. Hudson was a longtime resident of Milledgeville but had lived the past 9 years with her daughter, Jean, in Kennesaw. She was a member of FUMC of Milledgeville and was retired from GCSU, having served for many years in the Public Relations Office. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John H. Hudson, and her four siblings.
Survivors include daughters Jean Fennell (Dee) of Kennesaw, GA, and Trudy Parker of Cumming, GA, three grandchildren Barry Parker (Mary) of Cumming, GA, Kit Fennell (Susan) of Broken Arrow, OK, Laurie Baxley (Mark) of Kennesaw, GA, eight great grandchildren Madison Baxley, Autumn Baxley, Taylor Baxley, Hudson Baxley, Campbell Baxley, Mia Baxley, Jonathan Fennell, Zachary Fennell, and one great great granddaughter Bella Baxley.
The family will receive friends Saturday 9-11AM preceding the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the First United Methodist Church Building Fund, 366 Log Cabin Rd. Milledgeville, GA 31061 or to the American Diabetes Association.
