Marianna Slack Neighbors

Marianna Neighbors, age 89, of Austell (formerly of Montgomery, AL) passed away Sunday, September 23, 2012. Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm (CST) on Tuesday, September 25 in the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Alexander City, AL. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Alexander City Cemetery in Alexander City, AL.



Mrs. Neighbors moved from Montgomery, AL to Austell, GA five years ago. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Morningview Baptist Church in Montgomery, AL. She worked for the United States Government in the Social Security Administration.



Mrs. Neighbors is preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Slack and her husband, Harold W. Neighbors. She is survived by her sisters-in-law: Kathryn Slack Turley, Dallas, GA and Betty Neighbors, Alexander City, AL and nieces: Susan Denley-Nottingham, Los Alamitos, CA; Carol Tudor, Southwick, AL; Kathryn Slack Mitchell, Powder Springs, GA and nephews: James Joel Slack, Savannah, GA; Charles Sidney Slack, Leesburg, GA and John Paul Slack, Dallas, GA.
