Margaret Z. Morey

Margaret Z. Morey, age 87, of Acworth, GA passed away Friday, May 26, 2017. Memorial Services will be held 11am Wednesday, May 31st at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. The family will receive friends from 10am until 11am prior to the ceremony.
Born in Pottsville, PA, Mrs. Morey lived in Corning, NY for over 60 years before moving to Acworth, GA. She worked for Corning Glass Works for many years, and was a faithful member of Christ Episcopal Church in Corning, NY. She was a homemaker, worked for the Corning chamber of Commerce as a book-keeper, co-owned Collage gift shop, managed several retail shops and delved in a traveling antique business. She also was a volunteer Librarian, was the Secretary of her Home Owner’s Association, served as an Altar Guild at church, and enjoyed playing Bridge. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Cynthia Flemming, Elizabeth Reuter and Jack Zulick.

Sister: Isabel Rhoads, Orwigsburg, PA
4 Grandchildren: Nat and Reagan Morey, and Hannah and Brock Picardi
