Margaret Jeanne Garwood, age 80, of Ellijay, Georgia passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022. A Private Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Mountain View Cemetery in Marietta
A native of Waynesville, NC, Mrs. Garwood lived in Marietta, GA for 40 years before moving to Ellijay, GA in 2017 to be near her daughter. She had been a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Marietta. She is preceded in death by her husband, James H. Garwood, and a daughter, Kimberly Garwood.
Survivors include: 3 Daughters, Sonya (Robert) Harris, Ellijay, GA, Tammy (Zane) Aycock, Woodstock, GA, and Sheila (Jud) Burton, Snellville, GA; 4 Grandchildren, Megan Burton, Joshua Burton, Emma Aycock, and Katie Aycock, and her beloved dog, Petey, and 6 other granddogs.
