Margaret Ursula Dunham died peacefully in her sleep on August 4, 2015 in Smyrna, GA. She was 97. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday August 19, 2015 at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of St. James Episcopal Church in Marietta, GA. Margaret was born April 27, 1918 in New York City and graduated from Elmira College and Columbia University. She was a biochemist and served as a member of the Women’s Army Corp in the Chemical Warfare Service during WWII. She worked as a researcher and administrator at Sloane Kettering Institute and Blue Cross/Blue Shield in New York City. She retired to Pelham, GA and lived with her sister Catherine Neuhauser until her sister’s death in 2006. Margaret is survived by a nephew George Neuhauser, his wife Vicky and son Jess; and by a niece Marline Elkins, her daughter Elizabeth, son Kevin and his wife Kathryn, and daughters Alyssa and Ashley. She will be buried in Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx, New York. Online guestbook available at
