Margaret Ann Boone

Margaret Ann Boone of Acworth, GA, passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 20, 2023. Margie was born on October 30, 1937 in Atlanta, Georgia. She was a devoted stay at home mother until she began substitute teaching and then became an EKG Technician at Crawford Long Hospital for several years before returning back to being a stay at home mother. Margie married the love of her life, Earl, on July 2, 1960. They were married for 63 years. They had three beautiful children, Barry, Kellie and Christy. They raised their children in Mableton, GA. Margie was truly the heart of her family and always made sure everyone was cared for and felt loved. There was nothing she enjoyed more than spending time with her family whether playing board games or just sitting around the table visiting. She enjoyed shopping, playing canasta with her friends and watching Lifetime Movie Network. She loved having sleepovers with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved spoiling her boys, Brady and Bryson; they could do no wrong in her eyes. Margie was predeceased by her husband Earl; her son, Barry Boone; her daughter, Kellie Humphreys; her brother, Doug Coker; and her brother, James Coker. Margie is survived by her daughter, Christy Mau (Bill); granddaughter, Jessica Milovich (David) along with great-grandsons, Bryson David Milovich (8) and Brady Boone Milovich (4); granddaughter, Rhian Chavarria (Desmond); her brother, Wayne Coker, her life-long friend, Charlet Anagnostis; and her life-long friend, Gaynell Wood; and many nieces and nephews and bonus kids that she considered her own. Margie loved each and everyone of you! Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Bill Rorie officiating. Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens in Hiram, Georgia. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
