Madelene Anderson Tallent, age 101, of Smyrna, Georgia passed away March 13, 2024. Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, March 22, 2024 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, Georgia with Rev. Bill Rorie officiating. Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Park in Atlanta, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Clyde Tallent in 2011.

Mrs. Tallent was a native of Atlanta moving to Smyrna Georgia in 1963 and spending the last three years in Canton. She was a member of Underwood Memorial United Methodist Church where she was in the Lady's Guild. She loved gardening, baking and spending time with her family.

Survivors include: son: Clyde (Dianna) Tallent of Canton, GA; grandson: Matthew (Kathleen) Tallent of Canton, GA; four great-grandchildren: Ava Tallent, Cameron Johnson, Jordan Johnson and Bryce Ramirez; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 22, 2024 from 10:00 am until 11:30 am at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Madelene Tallent's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
