Lula C. Scandrett was born on December 16, 1929 to the late Lonnie and Fannie Mae Adams in Elberton, Georgia. She made her transition to glory on Monday, February 6, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Saturday, February 11, 2012, at Faith Christian Center in Smyrna with Minister Allen Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at Mableton Memorial Gardens.
Lula attended school in Elberton, Georgia. Lula was a diligent, hard worker who took pride in loving and providing for her family. She retired from being a domestic engineer in 2000.
She accepted Christ at an early age. Where she joined Vance Creek Church. She later moved to Hartwell, Georgia where she was an active member of the First Baptist Church Hartwell. During her many moves she attended various churches until her health began to fail her.
At the time of her death she resides at Signature Healthcare of Buckhead.
Early in her life she was married to Phillip G. Scandrett to their union four children were born. She was preceded in death by her father Lonnie Adams, her mother Fannie Mae Adams, son Willie James Scandrett and brother Clifford Adams.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband Phillip Scandrett, daughters Linda Scandrett-Brown, (Richard), Machelle Scandrett, son Jeffrey Scandrett (Florence), six grandchildren Chala Allen, Andy Scandrett, Jeffrey (JP) Pugh, Tamara Scandrett, Tevin Cook and Angel Brown, threee great grandchildren, Jhela Allen, Aja Thomas and Jeremiah Thomas, special uncle Andrew Maddox, special cousin Robbie Alexander and a host of other relatives and friends.
