Louise Greene Shelley

Louise Green Shelley was the daughter of William and Ina Carnes Green. She attended Marietta schools and was salutatorian from Marietta High in 1940. In 1941, she married Troy Lee Shelley, who died in 2012.

She is survived by daughter, Lynn Shelley Sanders (Robert); son, Robert Steven Shelley (Donna); 4 grandchildren, Michelle Sanders Lochamy, Michael Kevin Sanders, William Theodore Shelley, Laura Leigh Shelley and their spouses; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Odene Green Rakestraw; nieces and nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Shelley was a member of Maple Avenue Methodist Church since 1936. She was a former member of NSDAR and UDC. She was employed at AFERO Lockheed for 30 years.

Louise is remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. A private service will be at Mountain View Cemetery.
