Louie Jacob McAllister Jr.

Louie Jacob McAllister, Jr., age 75, of Marietta, GA passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2015. Funeral Services will be held at 3pm on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Mighty Fortress Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Paul Horn officiating. He will lie in state 1 hour prior to the service at the church.



Born in Atlanta, Mr. McAllister lived in Marietta for the past 42 years. A graduate of Southern Tech, he worked for Delta for 10 years, then was employed with the Cobb County School System for 28 years before retiring. He was a talented musician, playing brass instruments, and loved marching bands and playing golf. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia McAllister, and his grandson, Joshua Gilliland.

Steven (Cassondra) McAllister, Alpharetta, GA



2 Granddaughters: Katie Gilliland and Talia McAllister
