Loren Edward Baker

Loren Edward Baker, age 85, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away July 18, 2021. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, July 26, 2021 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Mary Baker and his brother, Harold Baker, Jr.

Loren was a native of Hamilton, NY and spent the last 50 years in Powder Springs, GA. He was a member of the Powder Springs Historical Society and he attended First Baptist Church of Powder Springs. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force.

Survivors include: wife of 50 years: Bonnie Baker of Powder Springs, GA; five children: Shannon Baker of Powder Springs, GA, Branon Baker of Powder Springs, GA, Kally Roey of Fayetteville, GA, Kevin Tate, and Korey Frenton; six grandchildren: Jacob Baker, Cole Baker, Alaina Baker, Chelsey Black, Krista Smith and Jennifer Spivey; one brother: Warren Baker of Hamilton, NY; five great-grandchildren: Abby Smith, Axel Black, Piper Black, Hunter Soukuo, and Dylan Spivey.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Loren Baker's memory to First Baptist Church of Powder Springs, GA.
