Lois Howard Land, age 69, of Marietta, GA passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2011. Funeral Services will be held 2pm on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Dr. William Camp officiating. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta.
A native of Pine Mountain, GA, Mrs. Land lived in Cobb County for over 30 years. She worked for Lockwood Greene Engineers in Atlanta for 5 years, and was an active member of Roswell Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include:
Husband: Charles Clifton Land, Marietta, GA
Son: David C. Turner, Jr., Woodstock, GA
5 Brothers: Julian Howard, James Howard, Richard Howard, Lewis Howard and Grady Howard
2 Sisters: Bobbie Harper and Mildred Howard
