Lillian Ponder, age 88, of Austell, Georgia passed away December 25, 2020. Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Georgia Memorial Park in Marietta, GA with Rev Keith Collins officiating. She was preceded in death by her husband T.J. Ponder.
Mrs. Ponder was a native of Ellijay, GA where she graduated from Ellijay High School, moving to Cobb County in the 1960's. She was a member of Floyd Road Baptist Church, retired from Sears after 20 years of service. Lillian loved spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include: daughter: Carol Ponder of Austell, GA; son: Alan Ponder of New Haven, CT; brother: Willard Hensley; granddaughter: Celina Ponder.
Donations may be made in Lillian Ponder's memory to Floyd Road Baptist Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital .
