Lewis John Radecki II of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on December 7, 2021, at home. Known to his family and many of his friends as "Jack", he was born in Corry, Pennsylvania to Judith and Lewis Radecki.
He had a lifelong interest in electronics, earning his amateur radio license by age 14. After graduating high school, he pursued his further education at NC State, earning a double bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and physics.
Lewis settled in Atlanta and later moved his family to Marietta. He worked within his expertise in electrical engineering during his career, including notable and international projects such as helping develop CCTV security systems leading up to the Olympics of 1988 in Seoul, South Korea.
He was predeceased by his father, Lewis John Radecki, and nephew, George Lewis Barbour.
Lewis is survived by his daughter Stefanie Laila Radecki, his mother Judith Gray Radecki of Southern Pines, NC, and his sister Catherine Barbour and her husband George Barbour of NC.
He will be remembered for his keen sense of humor, someone that could fix anything, and as a loving father. A family graveside service will be held in Mayville, New York.
