Leonard G. Ledford

Leonard G. Ledford, age 88, of Bowdon, Georgia passed away April 19, 2017. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, with Rev. Alan Ledford and Rev. Eddie Ledford officiating. Interment will follow at Post Oak Baptist Church in Powder Springs, Georgia.

Leonard was a native of Blairsville, GA and served in the Army during The Korean War. Leonard attended Indian Creek Baptist Church. Loved Farming and spending time with his family.

Survivors include: two children: Corby (Denise) Ledford of Dawsonville, GA and Glennis (Blaine) Buice of Cumming, GA; brother: Lawrence (Evelyn) Ledford of Morganton, GA; two grandchildren: Amelia Kaylin (Hayes) Tankersley and Kelsey Leigh (Dillon) Wheeler; one great-grandson: Oliver Shea Tankersley and numerous nephews and neices.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
