Lee Stephen DuPree passed away on December 26th at the age of 77, survived by his loving wife and best friend of 40 years,           Letty Broek-DuPree.

Steve was born in Augusta and was a 1965 graduate of the Academy of Richmond County. He served with the 319th Transportation Company in Vietnam, where he made many friends for life. Steve met Letty in Holland, and they began their lives together in Saudi Arabia, where Steve was currently working. After six years they moved to Yemen, and then later to Thailand before eventually settling in Atlanta from where they travelled extensively and built many wonderful memories.

Steve is survived by his brother David Dupree and his wife Melissa, brother-in-law Harry Burns, and nieces and nephews Dorothy, Brian, Leslie and Kevin. He is preceded in death by his sister Alinda Burns, and his parents Leo and Eva DuPree. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Januari 4 at 2pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, 2480 Macland Road, Marietta, GA 30064.
